Herald Square is most famously known as the home to the flagship store of Macy’s – the world’s largest department store. Home of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade, anyone who has turned on a TV on Thanksgiving has seen these streets. The boundary lines are from West 34th to West 35th between Broadway and Sixth Avenue.
As far as working in Herald Square, there are no office buildings in Herald Square as it is literally just a pedestrian mall surrounded by buildings outside its perimeter. If you want to work right here, your best bet is to look at offices located in Penn Plaza or Fashion District Garment Center.
The transit choices for Herald Square are the B, D, F, M, Q, N and R trains. You’re just a block away from Penn Station and Madison Square Garden which gives you access to the LIRR, NJ Transit, PATH and the 1, 2, 3, A, C and E subways.
